Not everything needs to be dark and moody.
This pair started out like many mid-century pieces do — glossy, tired, and hiding what actually made them interesting. So the first step was simple: strip it all back and let the materials breathe again.
The original veneer is now finished with Osmo Hardwax Oil, bringing out the warmth and grain that were always there. Around it, a deep blue frame gives the piece structure, while a fine Tuscan orange line adds just enough character to keep things from becoming too serious.
That line is also where the name comes from.
The original handles have been kept — they just felt right.
Open the drawers and there’s a small surprise: a soft orange interior with a patterned lining. Nothing loud, just a detail you notice over time.
The result is a pair that sits somewhere between mid-century and something a bit more playful. Clean, warm, and with a bit of attitude.
